WaiverBuddy is a free fantasy football research tool. We don't ask for accounts, we don't collect or store personal information on our servers, and we don't sell anything about you. The site shows ads via Google AdSense, and everything you read here — player data, news, insider posts — comes from public sources that deserve the credit, listed below.

On our servers: none. There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, and no first-party analytics. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses and request paths) to operate the service.

On your device:your theme preference (light/dark) and your starred "My Players" watchlist are saved in your browser's localStorage. That data never leaves your device, and you can clear it anytime through your browser settings.

We use Google AdSense to serve ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance.

WaiverBuddy aggregates publicly available information. The underlying content belongs to its creators and rights holders:

• Player data, trending stats, headshots, and team logos come from the public Sleeper API. WaiverBuddy is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sleeper.
• News headlines and links are surfaced from Google News, ESPN, and CBS Sports RSS feeds. All headlines, articles, and reporting belong to their respective publishers — we link you to the original source, always.
• Insider posts in the NFL Wire are public posts fetched from Bluesky. Each post belongs to its author (reporters like Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, and aggregator accounts), and every item links to the original post.
• Team names and logos are trademarks of the National Football League and its member clubs. WaiverBuddy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL or any NFL team.

The "Why he's trending" blurbs are generated by an AI model from recent public news headlines. They are provided for convenience and entertainment, may contain errors, and are not professional, betting, or financial advice. When it matters, read the linked sources.

The site links out to publishers, Bluesky, and other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own — this policy covers WaiverBuddy only.
